Uzbekistan will send 100 AI specialists to study abroad
IT specialists will be able to travel for six months to the USA, Europe, Singapore, Japan, and other countries.

On October 21, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the IT Park in Tashkent and held a meeting on digitalization and artificial intelligence, the presidential press service reports.
The Head of State noted that in the modern era, when the demand for artificial intelligence is growing in the world, to remain competitive, it is necessary to strengthen attention to 3 main issues — infrastructure, open data, and personnel training.
From the reforms to develop AI in the country, it follows that 100 highly qualified specialists with foreign language skills and strong technological knowledge will be sent to six-month courses in the USA, Europe, Singapore, Japan, and other countries.
In any field, whoever works hard and achieves concrete results, whoever is ahead of others, will be the winner, — the president said.
As a reminder, the position of governor’s advisor on digitalization and AI will be introduced in Uzbekistan. Also, in 2026, the authorities plan to launch a rating system for assessing the implementation of artificial intelligence in the regions.
