Uzbekistan’s top egg-producing region named

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, from January to June 2025, the country produced 4 billion eggs.

The indicator increased by 8.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Egg production volume by region:

• Tashkent region – 709.5 million units;
• Samarkand region – 596.3 million units;
• Namangan region – 330.9 million units;
• Fergana region – 324.9 million units;
• Andijan region – 314 million units;
• Surkhandarya region – 296.1 million units;
• Kashkadarya region – 255.4 million units;
• Khorezm region – 253.3 million units;
• Bukhara region – 249.9 million units;
• Navoi region – 215.5 million units;
• Karakalpakstan – 200.4 million units;
• Jizzakh region – 183.6 million units;
• Syrdarya region – 92.6 million units.

Recall that the president instructed officials to monitor the price stability of meat, milk, and eggs. Shavkat Mirziyoyev threatened to dismiss those unable to manage the task.
