Uzbekistan may face the strongest magnetic storm in a year

According to experts, a six-point geomagnetic storm is expected.

The magnetic storm, expected on November 7th, could be the strongest in 2025, according to data from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute.

Scientists have formed the first model of the movement of plasma clouds emitted by the Sun. Preliminary forecast of geomagnetic activity. The forecast does not yet take into account the last, strongest emissions that occurred on the night of November 6th and will be recalculated towards an increase overnight.

Regardless of what the graphs show, Earth will face the strongest geomagnetic storm of the year and one of the strongest in the last few years on November 7. The plasma motion model is very similar to the one that preceded the high-level G5 magnetic storm on May 11-12, 2024.

Then several emissions came to Earth simultaneously, accumulating along the way into a single structure of record sizes. It is reported that even without considering the nighttime emissions, the forecast for November 7 shows G3-G4 levels of storms, that is, from strong to very strong. As scientists expect, when recalculated, this range will shift to the G4-G5 range.
