From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan sold 23.9 thousand tons of dried apricots worth 45.8 million dollars to 56 foreign countries. This was reported by the Statistics Committee.

According to the information, compared to the same period in 2024, the indicator increased by 13.7 thousand tons or 2.4 times. Uzbek dried apricots were most often supplied to which countries:

  • China — 5,5 thousand tons;
  • Kazakhstan — 4,6 thousand tons;
  • Turkey — 4,1 thousand tons;
  • Russia — 1,8 thousand tons;
  • Ukraine — 1,5 thousand tons;
  • other countries — 6,5 thousand tons.

Earlier, it was reported that entrepreneurs would receive benefits for using modern packaging of vegetables and fruits. Sowing, harvesting, and sorting equipment can be imported into the country at a customs rate of 1%.
