Uzbekistan agreed with Ecuador to join the WTO
The country has become one step closer to the organization.

Uzbekistan has successfully concluded bilateral negotiations with Ecuador on joining the World Trade Organization, according to the President’s spokesperson for the WTO, Azizbek Urunov.
The specialist said that negotiations on access to the market with Ecuador were successfully completed on November 6 and expressed gratitude to the Ecuadorian side for the constructive dialogue and support. Thus, the country is one step closer to joining the WTO.
It should be noted that within the framework of the 11th meeting of the working group on the country’s accession to the World Trade Organization, Uzbekistan also successfully completed bilateral negotiations with Canada and Panama. Currently, the country still needs to reach an agreement with two more countries to join the WTO.
Recall that the head of the WTO visited Bukhara and inspected the toilets near the sights. The specialist gave several tips on improving their quality, and also recommended improving inclusivity.
