Uzbekistan again opposed military aggression in Doha
Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov conveyed Shavkat Mirziyoyev's address to the participants of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit.

Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov delivered Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address to the participants of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, the Ministry’s press service reports.
According to the minister, the president’s statement confirms strong solidarity with the people of Qatar and all Muslim countries. The recent military aggression threatening peace and security in the Middle East is also strongly condemned. Uzbekistan reaffirmed its clear position:
- all conflicts must be resolved peacefully and diplomatically;
- the international community is obliged to take urgent measures to stop violence and prevent further escalation;
- in accordance with UN resolutions, the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state must be respected;
- Uzbekistan is ready to provide humanitarian aid to the victims, which has already been demonstrated in the reception and support of a group of Palestinian citizens in the country.
Recall that Shavkat Mirziyoyev called the Emir of Qatar and condemned Israel’s attack on Doha. The President reminded that Uzbekistan opposes any use of force in international relations and measures that could escalate the situation in the Middle East.
