Uzbek law enforcement officers will start learning cyber law

A four-year bachelor's degree program in this field will be opened at the Law Enforcement Academy.

A “Cyber Law” program will be opened at the Law Enforcement Academy, according to a presidential decree.

A new E-tergov information system is being introduced, through which criminal proceedings will be fully transferred to electronic format. Through the system, it will be possible to appoint forensic examinations online, as well as maintain records and monitor the recovery of material damages.

In addition, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, a four-year bachelor’s program in “Cyber Law” will be opened at the Law Enforcement Academy. A new Center for Digital Technologies will also be established under the Prosecutor General’s Office.
