Uzbek entrepreneur added to EU sanctions list
The reason was suspicions that products from his factory could have been used to produce ammunition for the Russian Armed Forces.

The European Union included an Uzbek entrepreneur in the 19th package of sanctions on suspicion that his products could have been used to make ammunition for the Russian Armed Forces, according to the EU sanctions monitoring website.
It is noted that being on the sanctions list means freezing assets within the EU, prohibiting entry, and any financial transactions with European companies and institutions.
Earlier, it was reported that an Uzbek company had fallen under EU sanctions. The enterprise was already under the restrictions of the USA and Great Britain.
