Two trillion soums will be allocated to support women entrepreneurs

In Uzbekistan, 2 trillion soums will be allocated to support women’s entrepreneurial projects, according to the presidential decree.
In 2026-2027, the Hamroh Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Company will allocate 2 trillion soums to support the entrepreneurial projects of 6,000 women. The authorities also plan to organize business courses for 2,800 women and girls, and another 2,000 will receive partnership support.
For women’s employment and health centers in mahallas, land plots of up to 300 sq. m will be allocated from the reserves of khokimiyats on the basis of the right of permanent use, as well as vacant state-owned facilities or part thereof on the basis of the right of operational management.
Centers organized by the khokimiyats, respectively, by the Committee of Family and Women of Karakalpakstan, the departments of family and women of regions and Tashkent, are provided for lease for the organization of sewing, confectionery, fitness, shopping, and vocational training activities for women.
Earlier, it was reported that centers with combined private and public services would be created for entrepreneurs. The President reviewed the measures to increase exports.
