On January 14, electricity will be shut off in several mahallas in the Yunusabad and Mirzo-Ulugbek districts of Tashkent, the REN press service reported.

In the Yunusabad district, maintenance work will be carried out at the 110/10/6 kV Beshkurgon substation from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, which may result in temporary power outages in some areas. Additionally, a fault has occurred on the Mirzo-Ulugbek district power grid (feeder “MU-4”).

The outages occurred:

  • in the Yunusabad district – in certain parts of the Turkiston, Hasanboy, Sharq Khakikati, Islamobod, Tiklanish and Hamkorobod mahallas from 10:00 to 15:00;
  • in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district – in certain parts of the mahallas Korosu-6, Oltintepa, Kyzylsuv, Bozariq and Angren until the malfunction is eliminated.

Repairs and troubleshooting in the areas listed above may be completed ahead of schedule. The department apologizes to customers for any inconvenience caused.
