The polluted air will be cleaned by the end of next week — Uzhydromet

Forecasters expect the situation with polluted air to persist in Uzbekistan until the end of next week, according to Uzhydromet.

According to reports, experts previously speculated that the weather inversion would only persist until November 24th. According to updated data, weather conditions that prevent the mixing of air layers may be delayed longer. It is noted that unstable weather will be characteristic during this period, with indicators changing throughout the day.

At the same time, the improvement of air quality will be associated with the change of air masses, wind intensification, or precipitation. Forecasters note that the observed situation is a natural, temporal, and seasonal process. Authorized state bodies are constantly monitoring the situation and, if necessary, taking urgent measures.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the head of the “Milliy Tiklanish” party, Alisher Kadyrov, published a post on the situation with the deterioration of air quality. Alisher Kadyrov called on responsible state structures to prevent the spread of citizens’ messages accusing authorities of poor ecology and air quality.
