The Ombudsman’s representative reviewed the health and conditions of Alisher Tursunov, known as Mubashshir Ahmad, the founder of Azon New Media, in the Navoi region’s 5th colony, according to the press service of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis.
During the monitoring, conversations were held with the convicts, including individual conversations with the convicted Alisher Tursunov, as well as medical documents related to his health condition were reviewed.
Alisher Tursunov did not complain about problems with the provision of medical care at the institution, he regularly undergoes full medical examinations, there are only minor changes in his health related to previously existing diseases, while receiving appropriate medical care.
He also noted that he voluntarily works in the kitchen, is not involved in overtime work outside the time established by law, and the working conditions comply with labor protection requirements. He also has no complaints about living conditions and food security.
According to him, taking into account his health condition, he is provided with food according to established norms. During the individual conversation, the convicted Alisher Tursunov did not address any questions.
During the monitoring visits of the Ombudsman’s regional representative for Navoi region to this institution in November and December 2025, no appeals were received from the convicted Tursunov.
It should be recalled that on October 8, 2025, Alisher Tursunov was found guilty under a number of articles and sentenced to 2.5 years in a general regime colony.
