The Ministry of Energy denied the information about power outages in Uzbekistan.

According to the department, if necessary, short-term power outages may occur in certain regions, which will be officially reported in advance. However, the information about large-scale power outages is false. Citizens were asked not to disseminate unconfirmed and unreliable information.

It should be recalled that a new rotor, weighing 114 tons, was delivered to the Syrdarya Thermal Power Plant by Mitsubishi from ACWA Power from Japan. It was reported that when the rotor is installed, residents will have temporary power outages during periods of high consumption (from 17:00 to 21:00). Installation and testing of the new rotor will take about a month.
