The landlord registered 35 students in his apartment

In Uzbekistan, during an analysis of the service that registers real estate lease agreements, specialists discovered an apartment where 35 students were registered, the press service of the Tax Committee reports.
According to the information, such a violation was discovered by specialists during an inspection of the E-ijara service. It turned out that the landlord first registered a lease agreement with two students, each of whom received 0.5 sq.m. of housing with a monthly payment of 1.5 million soums. In addition, 33 more students were registered in the same apartment, each of whom had an average of 0.7 sq. m of living space.
As a result, the man managed to accommodate 35 people in an apartment with an area of about 24 square meters. The department reminded that this is a violation, since according to the Housing Code, the social norm for the area of housing is at least 16 square meters per person and at least 23 square meters for citizens with disabilities. Specialists reminded that it is important to comply with these norms when leasing housing to landlords.
Earlier, it was reported that students will be able to return part of their rent online. The service can be formalized without leaving the room.
