The Heads of State congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day

The leaders of international organisations — including the SCO, CIS, OIC, and UN — also voiced their support.

Congratulations have been received addressed to Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence, reports “Dunyo”.

In their letters, the heads of state acknowledged that under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan is showing impressive socio-economic progress, boosting its international standing, and playing an increasingly significant role in regional and global politics.

Among the first to extend congratulations were Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Donald Trump, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as well as leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

Congratulatory messages were also sent by the leaders of the European Union, Germany, Italy, India, Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and numerous other countries. Heads of international organizations, including the SCO, CIS, OIC, and UN, also expressed their support.

In their addresses, world leaders highlighted the successful implementation of large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, the enhancement of the population’s living standards, the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, and the country’s role in strengthening stability and security in Central Asia.

Let us remember that Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech at the SCO summit. The President outlined the priorities for strengthening multilateral collaboration within the Organisation.
