The families of those killed by the gas explosion in the cafe will be allocated 100 million soums

Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to allocate 100 million soums within three days to the families of those killed in the gas explosion at a cafe in Gulistan, the presidential press service reports.

At the session of the Syrdarya Regional Council of People’s Deputies, it was noted that victims are receiving free medical and psychological assistance. Responsible agencies were instructed to establish the causes of the incident as soon as possible and ensure the rule of law.

The President noted that this tragedy should become a serious lesson for the emergency system. It was emphasized that to prevent such incidents, all responsible services must switch to a 24/7 work schedule during the winter months.

Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the victims of the gas explosion in a cafe in Gulistan. The President instructed to create a government commission to investigate the causes of the incident. The Ministry of Health reported the condition of all those injured as a result of the explosion in a cafe in Gulistan. The department noted that they have taken the situation under control.

It should be noted that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the explosion of a gas cylinder in a teahouse in Gulistan: law enforcement officers have initiated a criminal case under Article 257, Part 3 (Violation of labor protection rules resulting in human death) of the Criminal Code. One person was taken into custody in a procedural order.
