The draft law on the point of intersection of the borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan was sent to the Senate

The document determines the location of the junction and border crossing.

The deputies of the Legislative Chamber adopted and sent to the Senate a draft law on the ratification of the agreement between Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan on the border junction point.

The document defines the location of the junction point of the state border, as well as the passage of state border lines in this area. The adoption of the treaty will serve to strengthen relations between the three countries, as well as to enhance the authority of the Central Asian region.

The document creates a solid foundation for contacts between citizens, strengthening economic cooperation of border regions, expanding border trade, implementing joint infrastructure projects, and creating new jobs.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan and Tajikistan would open two border checkpoints for third-country citizens. Corresponding agreements are stipulated in the intergovernmental agreement.
