The draft design code of Tashkent has been submitted for public discussion, the document has already been posted on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
The document specifies the requirements and norms for the formation of a comfortable, safe, and aesthetically balanced urban environment. The document regulates the following areas:
- architectural solutions;
- placement of signs and advertising;
- improvement of territories;
- street infrastructure and small architectural forms;
- preservation and development of the historical environment.
In addition to visual requirements, the design code provides for the rational use of adjacent spaces, as well as establishes separate rules for tourist streets and a special operating mode. Comments and suggestions on the project are accepted until January 10, 2026.
