The air in Tashkent has cleared to an average level
In the worldwide atmospheric pollution ranking, the capital is positioned 14th.

On 2 September, the concentration of finely dispersed PM2.5 particles was 25 μg/m³, which is five times higher than the WHO recommended level, according to IQAir data.
Therefore, as of 08:00, the levels of ozone pollutants and PM10 in Tashkent’s air did not surpass the maximum allowable limits. However, the concentration of hazardous particles PM2.5 was five times higher than the WHO standard. Air quality is rated as average.
In the global air pollution ranking, the capital is placed 14th.
It should be reminded that Uzbekistan was not on the list of countries meeting WHO air quality standards. The Swiss company IQAir showed a report for 2024.
