Tashkent to introduce Smart School system for ongoing education quality monitoring
It will monitor attendance, as well as evaluate students' interest levels and teachers' pedagogical capabilities.

In Tashkent, as part of an experiment, a system of continuous monitoring of the quality of education will be introduced in several schools, according to the decision of the capital’s khokimiyat.
According to the information, the new system will be implemented in 250 classes across 31 schools in the Almazar district. It is planned that ongoing monitoring of the quality of education will be conducted via the Smart School electronic programme. Specifically, this includes tracking student attendance and assessing their psycho-emotional state using artificial intelligence.
Additionally, the system will be involved in assessing students’ interest in various subjects and analysing teachers’ pedagogical capabilities. As part of the programme, authorities intend to equip the 10th and 11th grade classrooms in general education schools in the capital with specialised cameras.
Earlier, it was reported that an experiment to develop robotics and VR classrooms would be launched in schools in Tashkent. After testing, the initiative is planned to be extended to other institutions.
