Since the beginning of 2025, Uzbeks have spent 16.5 trillion soums on medical services
Tashkent residents received the most healthcare services, while Navoi region residents received the least.

Since the beginning of 2025, Uzbeks have spent 16.5 trillion soums on medical services, with Tashkent residents receiving the most healthcare services, according to the National Statistics Committee.
According to the information, compared to the same period in 2024, the indicator increased by 15.4%. The share of healthcare in the total volume of market services rendered was 2%. In particular, from January to October 2025, 16.5 trillion soums worth of medical services were provided to citizens.
At the same time, residents of Tashkent received the most healthcare services — 7.7 trillion soums. In second and third places are Tashkent and Samarkand regions, where citizens spent 1.6 and 1.2 trillion soums on services. Further, the volume of healthcare services by region turned out to be as follows:
- Fergana region – 1.1 trillion soums
- Namangan region – 747.7 billion soums
- Andijan region – 739 billion soums
- Bukhara region – 640.1 billion soums
- Kashkadarya region – 612.8 billion soums
- Khorezm region – 557.8 billion soums
- Surkhandarya region – 416.8 billion soums
- Jizzakh region – 398.8 billion soums
- Syrdarya region – 293.1 billion soums
- Karakalpakstan – 285.6 billion soums
- Navoi region – 269 billion soums
Earlier, it was reported that from January to October 2025, Uzbek citizens used 10 trillion soums worth of insurance services. The indicator increased by 2.6 trillion soums compared to the corresponding period of 2024 or by 35%.
