Short-term rain and wind: weather forecast for the week

Throughout the working week, dry weather is anticipated to dominate across Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Hydrometeorological Centre.

Only on September 8 in the afternoon in some districts of the Tashkent region and on Friday, September 12, in places in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible. The air temperature will be within the range of 15-20° at night, 28-33° during the day, up to 35-38° in the south.

Wind 7-12 m/s, locally possible strengthening to 13-18 m/s, with dusty blowing snow. In some mountainous areas of the Tashkent and Fergana regions, short-term rain is possible on September 8-10.

In Tashkent on 8 September: Partly cloudy during the day with a chance of light, brief showers. East wind at 3-6 m/s, possibly strengthening to 8-10 m/s in some areas on 8 September. Predominant temperatures: 18-20 °c at night, 30-32 °c during the day.
