Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed new measures to support teachers

On September 15, at a meeting in the Tashkent region, Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward new initiatives aimed at further supporting teachers, the presidential press service reports.

Thus, starting from 2026, teachers of the highest category with at least 15 years of experience will be compensated 25% of the down payment on the mortgage loan. Children of teachers admitted to state universities will receive a 30% discount on their tuition fees. Also from the list follows:

• for the widespread use of new educational technologies, teachers will be allocated a preferential loan of up to 10 million soums for the purchase of a computer;
• Starting next year, the fee for state services for teachers will be reduced by 2 times;
• as for subject teachers, a system for issuing national certificates for primary school teachers will be introduced. Certificate holders will receive a monthly bonus of 15%;
• Outstanding bachelor’s degree graduates who have found employment at a school are automatically awarded the second qualification category, and master’s degree graduates — the first;
• Teachers admitted to the top 300 universities in the world will be provided with a preferential educational loan of up to 20 thousand dollars;
• teachers of schools and kindergartens that are in the top-100 of the rating, technical schools from the top-20 and top-10 universities will be provided with a 15-20% discount on air and train tickets for traveling around Uzbekistan once a year.

Recall that the president announced the introduction of the USE in schools. Based on the results of the school exam, graduates will be able to attend either technical colleges or universities of their choice.
