Several districts of Tashkent have been without hot water for five days

Specialists are getting the heating networks ready for the cold season.

From September 15th to 20th, hot water will be cut off in two districts of Tashkent due to preparations for the autumn-winter season. The hot water supply will be suspended in the Yashnabad district, the district administration’s press service reported.

Streets, mahallas where hot water supply will be stopped:

  • Asalobod-1, 2 apartment buildings, Aviasozlar-1, 2, 3, 4 apartment buildings
    streets: Alimkent, Aviasozlar (multi-apartment buildings), Aviasozlar, 1st Prosedure, Tuzel-1, 2, 3, 4 multi-apartment buildings, Chigil, Karasu, Ohangaron Highway, Khusniobod, Izzat, Sivtsa, Istikbol, Gulyamov, Elbek, Sadyka Azimov;
  • “Birlashgan”, “Uysozlar”, “Chulpon”, “Istiqlol”, “Toytepa” mahallas;
  • 58th Military Town (multi-apartment buildings).

Also, according to the schedule, from September 15 to 19, hot water will be cut off in the following locations:

  • A. Temur, Mustaqillik, Sh. Rashidov, Navoi, Babur, Glinka, Sh. Rustaveli, Bogibuston, Arnasay, Katta Chilanzar, Mukimi, Seul, Chponota streets;
  • in the Chilanzar district: C-1, 2, 4, 5, 7, Oqtepa, Chilanzar 1-5, 7, E, I, Kushbegi, Bashlyk, Uchuvchilar settlement.

As a reminder, heat networks are currently being tested, which may temporarily reduce the hot water temperature. Work is underway at the following locations:

  • September 12 (main), September 26 (reserve) – TPP (M-5,8), Amir Temur Avenue, Mustaqillik, Navoi, Bobur, Buyuk Turon, Zarafshon, Mahtumkuli, Shastri, Nukus, Abdulla Kahhar streets, C-1,2,4,5,7 massifs, Uchuvchilar settlement;
  • September 18 (main), September 25 (reserve) — RC-5 (M-0.4), Zargarlik, Lutfi, Katartal, Gulistan, Farkhadskaya, Chponota streets, Chilanzar massif blocks 5,12, 16, 20, 24, 26, Dombrabad.

Earlier, it was reported that plans to convert Tashkent to a closed heating system are still in place, which, in theory, should lower costs, reduce accidents, and minimise energy losses. Pilot projects have been carried out in Sergeli, Bektemir, and Mirzo-Ulugbek districts.

We also remind you that Veolia Energy specialists intend to develop new, safer methods for identifying potentially hazardous pipeline sections. The decision was made to ensure the safety and reliability of heat supply and to minimise risks for residents during preparations for the 2025-2026 heating season.
