Rain and cold snap: weather for December 8th

On December 8, cool weather is expected in Uzbekistan, with possible rain and fog in some areas, snow in mountainous areas, the press service of Uzhydromet reports.

It’s raining in Tashkent. East wind shifting to west 3-8 m/s. Temperature at night 3-5°C, in the daytime 5-7°C.

The weather in the regions is expected to be as follows:

• In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, no precipitation. Fog possible in some areas. Wind from the west 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 2-7° frost, during the day 3-8° warm;
• In Bukhara, Navoi, rain in places. Fog possible in some areas. West wind 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 0-5°C, in the daytime 8-13°C;
• In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, rain is expected in some areas. Fog possible in some areas. East wind shifting to west 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 2-7°C, daytime 5-10°C;
• In the Samarkand region, no precipitation. Wind from the east 7-12 m/s. East wind 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 0-5°, in some places down to 2°, in the daytime 10-15°;
• In Kashkadarya, it will rain in places. Wind from the west 7-12 m/s. Temperature: 2-7° at night, 12-17° during the day;
• In Surkhandarya, no precipitation. Ветер западный 7-12 м/с. Temperature: 2-7° at night, 12-17° during the day;
• In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana, rain is expected in some areas. Fog possible in some areas. East wind shifting to west 7-10 m/s. Temperature at night -2° frost-3° warmth, during the day 6-11° warmth;
• In the mountainous regions of the republic, precipitation (rain, snow), heavy in places, fog is possible. In the mountainous regions of Tashkent and Namangan regions, avalanche danger.
  West wind 7-12 m/s. Temperature at night 1-6° frost, during the day 0-5° warmth.
