For the organization of charging stations for electric vehicles, entrepreneurs will be provided with preferential loans at a rate of 10 percent, as well as the opportunity to purchase land plots through auction at a price twice lower than the market price.
In addition, when charging electric vehicles at charging stations, part of the cost of electricity exceeding 300 soums per 1 kWh will be compensated from the State budget. Also, a number of benefits will be provided to citizens providing taxi services using electric vehicles.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to localize the production of batteries for electric vehicles.
