Superior bargaining power is recognized as the presence of the possibility of unilateral influence by a business entity or a group of persons that do not have a dominant position on the determination of the terms of the transaction, the territory, and the price for the sale of goods.
The law prohibits the abuse of superior bargaining power (this is considered an anti-competitive action), which may lead to restriction of competition and (or) infringement of the rights and legitimate interests of consumers, as well as other business entities. Such actions may include:
- establishment of monopolistically high or monopolistically low prices;
- creation of obstacles for other business entities to enter the market;
- imposition of conditions not related to the subject of the contract, etc.
As a reminder, paid parking for residents has been approved in Tashkent. The authorities have determined the procedure, conditions, and validity periods of residency permits, as well as approved the range of persons who can use them.
