New parks will appear in each region of Uzbekistan
The initiative was announced by the president.

In honor of the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in the country, it is planned to create “Park of Trade Unions” in each region of Uzbekistan, the presidential press service reports.
According to the information, the trade union movement began in the country in 1905. The country’s leader emphasized the importance of studying the history of every organization and institution operating in the country, and also stressed the need to remember the people who worked there, as well as their deeds, and pass them on to future generations.
In this regard, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the movement, the leader of our country proposed to organize “Club Gardens” in each region as an expression of deep respect and honor for workers. The President instructed regional governors to allocate areas for these gardens and coordinate the territories with trade unions.
If trade unions of enterprises and organizations also plant trees at workplaces and in residential areas where their employees live, expand green areas, organize cleaning and landscaping, I think the atmosphere in labor collectives will be completely different, — the president said.
During the discussion, the activities of the Museum of History of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, established four years ago in Tashkent, were also noted. It was emphasized that the museum plays an important role in familiarizing people with information and exhibits related to the industry.
Earlier, it was reported that thousands of officials in Uzbekistan would be laid off. The Ministry of Employment and the trade unions will find other jobs for the dismissed employees.
