It is reported that the products were recalled as a precautionary measure.
This is part of the measures for the global voluntary withdrawal of certain batches of baby food products, carried out by Nestle due to the identified potential risk of the presence of ceroulide toxin in raw materials (arachidonic acid) from an external supplier, the report said.
Despite the minimal content of this ingredient and the lack of standardization of the ceroulid toxin content indicator in food products, Nestle, as part of its global decision to reduce potential risks, has begun implementing measures to voluntarily withdraw a limited number of batches of baby food products since January 5, 2026.
The company has notified the regulator and is ready to provide the regulator, consumers, and clients with all necessary information about the measures taken by the company in the Uzbek market. Consumers who have purchased the products of the specified batches can return them.
