Mubashir Ahmad was sentenced in Tashkent and his channel was blocked
The offender was sentenced to 2.5 years in a general regime colony.

Alisher Tursunov, known as Mubashshir Ahmad, was sentenced in Tashkent for distributing banned religious materials on social networks, Supreme Court press secretary Aziz Abidov reports.
According to the information, law enforcement officers have initiated criminal proceedings against the 51-year-old man under Article 156, Part 2 (incitement of national, racial, ethnic, or religious hatred), Article 244-1, Part 3, Clause g (production, storage, distribution, or demonstration of materials containing a threat to public safety and public order), and Article 244-3 (illegal production, storage, import, or distribution of religious materials).
The Uchtepa District Criminal Court found the man guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime colony. Additionally, the court also found the illegal activities of “Mubashir Ahmad” and “Azon Global — Alternative Information and Analytical Channel” pages to be illegal and ordered to block them.
Earlier, it was reported that the list of extremist materials in Uzbekistan had been updated. The new version includes over a thousand sources of prohibited content.
