More than a thousand new places have been created in kindergartens in Uzbekistan
More new preschool institutions have been opened in cities than in rural areas.
From January to September 2025, 1,440 places were commissioned in preschool educational organizations of the republic, the press service of the National Statistics Committee reports.
New kindergartens are being built both in large cities and remote areas, which contributes to increasing the accessibility of education for preschool children. At the same time, more preschool institutions have been opened in cities than in rural areas. Out of total seats:
- in urban areas — 780 places;
- in rural areas — 660 places.
As a reminder, some Uzbek citizens are being compensated for paying for private kindergartens. The children’s list will be generated automatically.
