Mirziyoyev flew to the US at Trump’s invitation
The President will take part in the summit of the leaders of the countries of Central Asia and the States.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, departed for Washington on a working visit, the presidential press service reported.
Within the framework of the program of the visit, the head of our state took part in the Second World Summit on Social Development. In the city of Doha, the country’s leader also held talks with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The President was escorted to the airport by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saud bin Abdurahman Al Thani.
Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, departed for Washington on a working visit to participate in the “C5+1” summit of Central Asian and US leaders. The head of state will hold meetings with Donald Trump, representatives of the Senate and House of Representatives of the Congress, as well as heads of US ministries and agencies.
Issues of further expanding and strengthening Uzbek-American strategic partnership relations, primarily in the trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres, as well as deepening interregional cooperation between Central Asia and the USA, will be considered.
Within the framework of the business program, meetings and events are planned with the participation of the heads of leading American companies and financial institutions. Following the events, it is planned to adopt a number of bilateral and multilateral documents.
Recall that Uzbekistan introduced a visa-free regime for US citizens. The new measure will take effect from January 1, 2026.
