Long-awaited rain is expected across Uzbekistan — regions
In mountainous areas, snowfall is possible.
On December 4, rain is expected in Uzbekistan, fog is expected in some regions, and snow is forecasted in the mountains, Uzhydromet reports.
According to the report, light rain is expected in Tashkent, Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Kashkadarya regions at times.
No precipitation is expected in the Fergana Valley and Surkhandarya region. In mountainous areas, rain may pass in places, potentially turning to snow.
Earlier, Uzhydromet reported that on average, December is expected to be 1-1.5 degrees above the climatic norm. Precipitation in the form of rain and snow will occur on certain days of the month for 2-4 days.
