In Uzbekistan, officials’ KPI assessment levels have been approved
The agencies will be able to develop the necessary key performance indicators in accordance with the standard procedure themselves.

In Uzbekistan, a system for evaluating the performance of officials will begin to operate, which will analyze key performance indicators across 4 levels, according to a government decree.
According to the information, employees included in the register of state civil service positions will be assessed. It will include officials of all levels: from representatives of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan to district and city khokimiyats. At the same time, the departments will be able to develop the necessary KPIs themselves, agreed with the standard procedure.
It is noted that they should be clear and specific, targeted and achievable, have a timeframe, reflect the competencies of employees, and be measured by understandable criteria. Activity results will be evaluated at 4 levels:
- less than 70 points — “unsatisfactory” (D);
- from 70 to 85 points — “satisfactory” (C);
- from 85 to 100 points — “good” (B);
- 100 points and above — “excellent” (A).
Specialists will calculate the points on the special electronic platform Samaradorlik.uz. It is planned that this will help increase the transparency and responsibility of civil servants, as well as implement the principles of effective management.
Earlier, it was reported that the effectiveness of civil servants in Uzbekistan would be tested. Expert groups will develop KPIs and monitor their implementation.
