In Uzbekistan, construction and renovation work was carried out in 832 educational institutions in 2025, creating hundreds of thousands of additional places for schoolchildren.
According to the information, during this period, reconstruction and modernization work was carried out in 493 general education schools, 9 specialized schools, and 330 preschool institutions. In particular, specialists built 43 new institutions, reconstructed 371, and modernized 88.
Also, during this time, 103 new kindergartens were built, 191 were reconstructed, and another 36 were modernized. It is noted that this made it possible to create 141.5 thousand additional places in schools, as well as to restore 92.4 thousand jobs in renovated buildings. In addition, 17.4 thousand new places were created in preschool institutions, as well as 24.8 thousand places were restored and 6.5 thousand places were repaired.
