In Uzbekistan, individuals will be punished for disclosing details of closed court sessions

Criminal liability for disclosure of information and details of a closed court session has been approved in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.
Поправки устанавливают следующий порядок: если имеются основания для рассмотрения дела на закрытом судебном заседании, суд может вынести определение о его проведении в закрытом режиме. В таком случае всех участников заседания предупредят о запрете на разглашение информации без разрешения суда, кроме того, они должны будут дать подписку о неразглашении.
Violation of these obligations entails liability under Article 239 (Disclosure of Surveillance or Preliminary Investigation Data). This condition will be written in the document. Thus, a citizen may be fined 50 BCV or face up to three years of correctional labor, or face one to three years of restricted freedom, or face up to three years of imprisonment.
