In Tashkent, the fight against illegally placed advertising on vehicles is being intensified, the press service of the Tashkent city administration reports.
Traffic police officers of the capital’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate, together with representatives of the city administration and the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the Committee for the Development of Competition, conducted a raid to identify such vehicles and prevent similar incidents.
As part of the monitoring activities, specialists were able to identify vehicles with advertising that did not meet the requirements of the legislation. For example, currently, to place outdoor advertising on vehicles, it is necessary to obtain a passport of the advertising space at the state services.
As a result, law enforcement officers took measures against the violators within the framework of the law, as well as conducted explanatory work with car owners. Specialists continue systematic monitoring.
Earlier, it was reported that chaotic advertisements had begun to be removed again in Tashkent. The khokimiyat appealed to businessmen and tenants to verify the presence of an official permit for the placement of advertising objects.
