In Tashkent, people complained about crowded metro buses

Transportation is also falling behind schedule: the responsible authorities clarified the situation.

On 8 September, information spread on social media about traffic jams near free metro buses. The Tashkent Main Transport Department commented on the situation.

According to the company, 32 buses are involved on this route: 7 King Long buses, 16 Yutong electric buses, and 6 Yutong gas buses, which operate more than 390 daily trips. The established movement interval is 3-5 minutes. The main load at the Technopark station.

It is reported that, to fully accommodate passenger flow and regulate traffic intervals, control by responsible services has been reinforced. During peak hours, the traffic interval exceeds the established norm. The company explained this by citing traffic jams. Responsible services have taken the situation under control.

Operational groups are also working daily on the route, studying the situation on the spot and making changes to the traffic schedule. The company apologized for the temporary inconvenience and asked passengers to be understanding.

As a reminder, starting August 2nd, train services between the Technopark and Yangiobod stations in Tashkent were suspended for scheduled maintenance. For passenger convenience, a free metro bus service has been organized between the Technopark-Kipchak-Technopark metro stations. Their working hours are from 05:00 AM to 23:00 PM.
