In Tashkent, parking costs near markets have increased

The changes will affect only cars, for trucks the tariffs will remain the same.

In Tashkent, parking fees have been increased for long-term parking in the capital’s markets, according to a decree issued by city mayor Shavkat Umurzakov.

According to the information, parking near the capital’s markets will now cost 25,000 soums for parking up to three hours on weekends, 35,000 soums for parking up to 4 hours, and 50,000 soums for parking over 4 hours. It is noted that the innovation will affect only passenger cars. For trucks, the tariffs will not change.

At the same time, the old rates will remain for cars in the case of parking for up to 2 hours. In addition, from December 1, all payments for sellers in the “Eski Juva” and Mirobod markets will be made through an electronic system: it will include one-time fees, rent for equipment and premises, as well as payment for public infrastructure.

Earlier, it was reported that in Tashkent, photo and video shooting at markets and shopping centers for commercial purposes became paid. The capital’s administration explained the reason for the new rules.
