In Tashkent, some bus routes have been altered during construction, reports the press service of the Ministry of Transport.
According to the department, work is underway on the section of Lutfi Street between Farhod and Shirin Ota streets. Some buses will operate on a one-way system. Therefore, routes No. 2, 9t, 13, 17t, 56, and 113 will be directed along Farhadskaya, Katta Xirmontepa, and Shirin streets.
Changes are also scheduled for other routes. Buses No. 41, 70, 127, and 150 will travel along the MCD, Farkhadskaya, Shaykhzoda, and Shirin streets. After repairs, they will resume their usual routes.
During the reconstruction period, there may be delays and schedule adjustments. Traffic intervals might also increase, — the report said.
Recall that the number of road accidents in Uzbekistan has fallen by 41%. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs stated that inspectors’ efforts are insufficient. He mentioned that the key factor is the road infrastructure itself.
