In one of the cities of Uzbekistan, public transport has become completely environmentally friendly
The entire rolling stock of the region is represented by Chinese electric buses.
Public transport in Gulistan has been completely replaced with environmentally friendly buses, the Ministry of Transport reports.
According to the presidential decree, the delivery of modern buses continues in Gulistan to organize high-quality public transport services for the population. The local passenger transportation company acquired 52 modern YUTONG buses.
The total number of buses delivered to the city since the beginning of this year has reached 72. These buses will serve passengers on 7 intra-city routes based on a gross contract.
Earlier, it was reported that hundreds of new Yutong electric buses were brought to Uzbekistan from China. By 2030, the share of these buses in Tashkent’s public transport is planned to increase to 50%.
