In one district of Tashkent, dozens of multi-story buildings were left without gas due to a leak — locations

In Tashkent, a gas leak was discovered on one of the streets, causing dozens of multi-story buildings to be left without gas, according to the Hududgazta’minot press service.

The incident occurred on Mahtumkuli Street in Yashnabad district. A gas leak was discovered in the medium-pressure underground gas pipeline, causing 25 multi-story buildings in the district to be left without gas. Currently, the emergency gas supply team is carrying out repair work. After the completion of the repair work, the gas supply will be restored.

As a reminder, the gas leak at one of the wells in Karakalpakstan was eliminated a month later. Hundreds of workers who helped in the liquidation were awarded commemorative gifts. A round-the-clock operational headquarters has been established to eliminate the gas fountain.
