In Jizzakh region, children who were severely abused by their own fathers are receiving support

In the Jizzakh region, children who were severely beaten by their own father during a family conflict are receiving assistance, reports the press service of the National Agency for Social Protection.

The department noted that the injured children were taken to the Primary Care Centre and received a medical examination. The doctors confirmed that the children’s health condition is satisfactory. Additionally, specialists from the “Inson” Social Services Centre provided the necessary psychological support to the minors.

Currently, the children are placed in a family orphanage, where they are under daily supervision and are fully protected by the state. At the same time, specialists are taking steps to bring their mother, who works abroad, back to her homeland.

It’s worth noting that the incident became known on August 28th after a video circulated on social media showing a man brutally beating and kicking children while they were crying and screaming. A representative of the Children’s Ombudsman in the region clarified that the footage in the video is a family conflict that occurred among residents, during which a man used violence against his two children.

The department’s press service assured that strict measures will be taken against the father. As a result, law enforcement officers have initiated a criminal case against the man under Article 110, Part 2, Clause “a” (Torture).
