Humanoid robots will begin to be made in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan and South Korea agreed to launch the production of humanoid robots in the country, the press service of the “Uzeltechsanoat” association reports.

According to the information, the relevant agreement was signed by the department representatives together with representatives of the South Korean company ROBOTIS during the Uzbek-Korean business roundtable. It is noted that the foreign company is a major player in the field of robotics, known for its humanoid and educational robots, as well as DYNAMIXEL’s intelligent actuators.

The document provides for the launch of humanoid robot production in Uzbekistan, the creation of a technological and production base, and the training of qualified specialists for the new industry. The agency emphasized that ROBOTIS’s many years of experience in creating and commercializing robots opens up opportunities for Uzbekistan to accelerate the development of its own high-tech industry.

It is planned that the memorandum of cooperation will be a significant step in deepening economic partnership and strengthening the country’s position in the field of innovation.

Earlier, it was reported that an international center for digital technologies would appear in Uzbekistan. The organization will focus on attracting a wide range of investments to the sector.
