How much does a tourist spend on average in Tashkent?
Foreigners are detained in the capital of Uzbekistan for up to four days.

Since the beginning of 2025, 3.9 million tourists from all over the world have visited Tashkent, with foreign citizens spending approximately $300 per day in the country, according to the press service of the capital’s administration.
The administration reported that during the period from January to September, about 3.9 million foreign citizens and another 5.6 million local residents visited the country, who also visited the sights of Tashkent. It was noted that the largest number of tourists came from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.
At the same time, the authorities calculated that on average, foreign guests spend about $300 a day in the capital on various purchases and tourist services. The most popular destinations for tourists were the Mirobod, Shaykhantahur, and Chilanzar districts of the capital, and the most frequently visited places were Hastimom, Chorsu Bazaar, Tashkent City, Magic City, Seoul Mun.
The administration also reported that foreign guests stay in the capital for an average of 2.5 to 4 days. In addition, it was noted that the hotel and accommodation sector is developing significantly in Tashkent. Thus, 1132 new hotels and hotels were opened in the capital, and a total of 54.5 thousand guest places were registered.
Earlier, it was reported that since the beginning of 2025, 7.5 million foreign citizens have visited Uzbekistan on tourist visits, with Kyrgyzstan’s tourists being the most frequent visitors. The country also proved to be popular among tourists from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
