Construction companies were reminded of the responsibility for air pollution
The National Ecology Committee said it could threaten construction owners for non-compliance with the requirements.

The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change has issued a notification to all construction companies regarding the need to comply with atmospheric air protection requirements at construction sites, the ministry’s press service reports.
According to the current legislation, all construction organizations are obliged to fulfill the following requirements:
- not to allow dust and sand particles to rise into the air during construction work;
- install suspended sprinklers and irrigation systems at the entrances and exits of construction sites;
- organize a washing station for the mandatory washing of the wheels of motor vehicles;
- equip the construction site with fences, protective coatings, and special materials to prevent dust from spreading.
In case of non-compliance with the requirements of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, fines and other measures may be applied, as well as the activity may be suspended for up to 10 working days or completely terminated in the prescribed manner.
