From January 16 to 18, precipitation (rain, gradually turning to snow) is expected in most of Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Hydrometeorological Center.
In the regions of the Fergana Valley, rain will begin towards evening. Tomorrow afternoon, unstable weather will persist across the republic, with precipitation predominantly in the form of snow occurring in some areas, but its intensity will significantly decrease. In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, no precipitation is expected these days.
On Sunday, precipitation will cease in most of the republic. Only at night and in the morning in Navoi, Tashkent, Syrdarya regions and the regions of the Fergana Valley, light snow will pass in places. The air temperature on January 16th will be within 5-8°C during the day, and 0-5°C on Saturday and Sunday.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to 3° frost-2° warmth. Fog possible in some areas. Wind 7-12 m/s, on January 16th, gusts up to 13-18 m/s are possible in some areas. In mountainous areas, snow is expected at times, heavy on January 16th. Avalanche danger.
In Tashkent: On January 16, it will rain occasionally, possibly turning to snow in the evening. Temperature 6-8°C. On Saturday night and morning, precipitation (rain, snow), fog possible. Occasional light snow is possible during the day. Temperature at night and during the day 1-3°C. On Sunday night and morning, light snow, fog possible. No precipitation during the day. Temperature at night 1° frost-1° warmth, in the daytime 3-5° warmth.
