Information appeared on social networks that some construction organisations are registering citizens as workers without their knowledge in order to improve their rating. The Ministry of Construction responded to the situation.

According to the report, the rating of construction and design organizations is calculated automatically based on information provided through the system by about 10 ministries and agencies in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 699 dated November 9, 2020.

In particular, information on the organization’s employees and monthly salaries not lower than the minimum wage (1 million 271 thousand soums) is automatically obtained from the database of the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment and the Tax Committee.

Therefore, the “Shaffof qurilish” National Information System does not have the ability to change this information, as well as determine its accuracy. The system only collects it and publishes it openly for users on the reyting.mc.uz platform, — the Ministry of Construction stated.

Along with the Ministry of Employment, efforts are underway to systematically regulate cases of registering for work in the construction sector without an individual’s consent, as well as citizens working simultaneously for multiple organisations.

To prevent such situations, Uzbeks were advised not to share their personal data with unauthorized individuals and to contact the proper authorities if they are registered for work in construction organisations without their consent.

Earlier, the Ministry of Construction reacted to the statement about “additional costs” for building permits. Entrepreneur Usmonjon Abdusamatov said that there are unjustified refusals and cases of corruption during an open discussion with industry representatives.
