Businesses will receive benefits when transferring production from Tashkent to Syrdarya

Entrepreneurs who decide to move production from Tashkent to Syrdarya will receive benefits, the president said at a session of the Council of Deputies.

According to the information, most entrepreneurs are looking for territories with accessible labor resources, developed infrastructure, and lower land and property tax rates. In the Syrdarya Free Economic Zone, there are great opportunities for the placement of capital’s existing production facilities on vacant plots.

Entrepreneurs who intend to transfer their enterprise from Tashkent to Syrdarya will be provided with land plots in the industrial zone under simplified procedures and with a discount. In addition, they will be allocated a preferential loan of up to 10 billion soums and reduced tariffs will be applied for the transportation of raw materials by rail.

Earlier, it was reported that thousands of houses in the Syrdarya region would be renovated. Developers will be provided with tax and customs benefits.
