Britain wanted to hire more Uzbek migrants for seasonal work

The parties agreed to expand cooperation.

The UK has decided to increase the quota for seasonal work for Uzbek citizens, the Migration Agency’s press service reports.

A meeting was held in the British capital between agency director Behzod Musayev, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Ravshan Usmanov, and Association of Labour Providers CEO David Kemp.

According to the company’s general director, the UK is ready to take cooperation with the Uzbekistan Migration Agency on the employment of Uzbek youth in British enterprises to a new level.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to increase quotas for Uzbek citizens under the British seasonal workers program, conclude contracts with new seasonal operators, and ensure the safe and organized employment of compatriots.

Earlier, it was reported that the Migration Agency had opened an intake for cruise liners. Specialists are looking for men and women aged 21 to 45 with experience in the service sector.
